Deprofundis joined in COP 22 Marrakech 2016

Beginning of November Bruno Garnier, head of Deprofundis took part in COP22, 22nd session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, in Marrakech, Morocco.

COP22 must made the different resolution from Paris Agreement a reality. For example : push signatory countries to actually engage in a low-carbon economy, improve access, use and development of green or blue technologies, and emphasize the importance of environment universal solidarity.

As part of COP 22, ONDA (Moroccan National Airport Office) announced a new energy transition strategy. Deprofundis participated to the Marrakech airport study, to evaluate the building energy efficiency, and then implement several improving solutions.

While speaking Bruno Garnier pointed out that it is worth to start with energy savings before going through renewable energy.

EDF (Electricity of France), also involved into the study, highlighted that Sea Water Air Conditioning technology is “the way of the future” .
